Hello there, I love these colors so much that I make a christmas kit a little bit "wild" :) Ok girls I still learning with Photoshop Cs5 and other draw programs so these is my "practice". I hope you like it. It's for personal use only (PU), is a full kit saved as 300 dpi and the graphics .png format. Not all elements are shown and some elements have shadow. Tutorial: "Country Life" Tag

Hola, First of all, I want to note that my first language wasn't English. I am from Puerto Rico and my language is Spanish, so I know I have grammatical errors (or horrors... lol). But I decide to write in the universal language: English. I wish you can understand a little bit the tutorials...so here we go!

I make simple tutorials, for more effects on tags I think they exists already many greats tutorial sites on the net, so I only want to teach you some little tricks or main ideas.

I use Paint Shop Pro v.7 I open a 800 x 800 clear canvas, put like background one paper of the kit (Note that isn't a plain paper), and then open a new layer and fill it with white color. On the white layer I use a mask (I suppose you have a lot, select one).

We have now a cool background for our tag, so go to put a circle frame. I select the brown circle frame. Play with the size and *ever that you change your embellishment size use these tool: "Retoque" "Adjustment: Accentuate".

Play with the settings. Try to put the embellishments in the same positions like mine or select your style. Note that I use some shadow to make more real the picture. (Vertical: 2, Horizontal: -1, Opacity: 47, Smudge: 2.5) Play with the settings.

The font I choice is called: Calvin and Hobbes ( I have no idea where I found it). *I only use the fill for the font, not the line color, Font color: #9F0000, Size:72.

Use the filter "Eye Candy 4000": Eye Glow effect,
Settings: Glow width 3.00, Soft Corner: 3, Overall Opacity: 100, Check mark Drawn Only Outside Selection. Color:White "Thin". Put a little bit of shadow on the font and you end.
